AcelRx Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (NASDAQ:ACRX) announced that Mark G. Edwards has joined its Board of Directors. Mr. Edwards will also serve as the chairman of the Audit Committee. Mr. Edwards founded Deloitte Recap LLC (formerly, Recombinant Capital, Inc. "Recap"), a pharmaceutical and biotechnology consulting company, in 1988, and served as its Managing Director until the end of 2010.
